The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo already announced that its joined hands with the South Korean electronics giant Samsung and Vivo will use the Exynos 980 processor. Well, now we got a new place of inflammation which reveals that the company will launch the successor of Vivo X27 and the upcoming device will be dubbed as Vivo X30.
According to the source, the company will launch Vivo X30 in December and the device will come with the next generation telecommunication chipset 5G. As the company has joined its hands with Samsung, we can believe that the upcoming device will be powered by Exynos 980 processor and that has an in-built 5G modem which means Vivo will not launch a 4G version of the Vivo X30.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the specification details of the upcoming Vivo device as we know about the Exynos 980, the processor comes with Cortex-A77 units at 2.2 GHz and another cluster of six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. It also includes WQHD+ displays with up to 3360 x 1440 pixels resolution, and supports 5G NR modem with 2.55 Gbps DL and 1.28 Gbps UL speeds, while the LTE is Cat.16 5CA with downlink up to 1 Gbps, the uplink is Cat.18 2CA with 200 Mbps. Exynos 980 supports UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1 storage and just LPDDR4x RAM.
