Vivo X60 5G and X60 Pro 5G Announced with Snapdragon 870 and more

The brainchild of BBK Electronics, Vivo has announced the all-new Vivo X60 5G and X60 Pro 5G that packs powerful camera hardware. It debuted in Malaysia hinting at an imminent global launch. Both smartphone feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, share the same design language and they come with the same camera specifications too. Let us check out these smartphones in detail below.

Specifications of Vivo X60 Pro 5G & Vivo V60 5G

It features a 6.56-inch AMOLED display that sports a Full HD+ resolution resulting in 2376×1080 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers both HDR10 and HDR10+ playback and the selfie camera is housed inside a centre punch hole. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 870 paired with Adreno 650 GPU and X55 5G modem. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

In the camera department, it rocks a triple camera setup with the 48MP camera leading the squad, followed by a 13MP ultrawide camera and finally a 13MP to make the count three. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front inside the punch hole. It comes with Gimbal Stabilization 2.0 for extra steady shots. Other features include HDR Super Night Portrait, Ultra Wide Night Portrait, Pixel Shift Ultra HD Imaging for better images and so on. The X60 Pro and X60 camera differs in terms of aperture but sports the same hardware.

The Vivo X60 Pro 5G packs a 4,2000 mAh battery that can be charged with a 33W fast charger that comes inside the box whereas the Vivo X60 5G packs a 4,300 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G (both mmWave and sub-6GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and Quick Charge 4+.

The Vivo X60 5G comes with a price tag of RMB 2699 (~$657) and The Vivo X60 Pro 5G will be sold for 3299 (~$803) in Malaysia These smartphones will be available in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colours.
