The brainchild of BBK Electronics, Vivo has announced the all-new Vivo X60 series that consist of Vivo X60 5G, X60 Pro 5G and X60 Pro+ 5G that packs powerful camera hardware. The company launched these models in Malaysia and now they have brought them to India as well.
Both Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are powered by the same Qualcomm SoC whereas the X60 Pro+ model comes with the most powerful chipset from Qualcomm. But all three smartphones share the same design language and they come with the same camera specifications too. Let us check out these smartphones in detail below.
Specifications of Vivo X60 Pro 5G & Vivo X60 5G
Both smartphones share the display, processor and memory configurations. It features a 6.56-inch AMOLED display that sports a Full HD+ resolution resulting in 2376×1080 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers both HDR10 and HDR10+ playback and the selfie camera is housed inside a centre punch hole. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 870 paired with Adreno 650 GPU and X55 5G modem. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
In the camera department, the Vivo X60 5G rocks a triple camera setup with the 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor leading the squad that has an f/1.48 aperture, which is followed by a 13MP ultrawide camera and finally a 13MP portrait camera to make the count three. In the case of Vivo X60 Pro 5G, the company has included a fourth 8MP telephoto lens that is capable of up to 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. Both smartphones house a 32MP selfie camera on the front inside the punch hole. The camera setup offers Gimbal Stabilization 2.0 for extra steady shots. Other features include HDR Super Night Portrait, Ultra Wide Night Portrait, Pixel Shift Ultra HD Imaging for better images and so on. The X60 Pro and X60 camera differs in terms of aperture but sports the same hardware.
The Vivo X60 Pro 5G packs a 4,2000 mAh battery that can be charged with a 33W fast charger that comes inside the box whereas the Vivo X60 5G packs a 4,300 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and Quick Charge 4+. Both smartphones weigh slightly above 175 grams and the software on both are running FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11
The Vivo X60 5G 8GB + 128GB memory variant comes with a price tag of ₹37,990, the 12GB +256GB version retails for ₹41,990. On the other hand, the Vivo X60 Pro 5G comes in a single variant of 12GB +256GB and it costs ₹49,990 and will go on sale from April 2. These smartphones will be available in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colours.

The device is coming with a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2376 X 1080 pixels resolution along with a punch-hole at the centre position of the screen, it also features a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, and 92.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It supports HDR10 as well as HDR10+ and features 103 per cent coverage of the NTSC colour space. The display is capable of producing maximum brightness of 1,300 nits.
Under the hood, the latest Vivo smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, and the same is paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The device comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM combined with 3GB of virtual RAM making it a total of 15GB and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Vivo X60 Pro+ 5G features a quad rear camera setup that is in the combination of a 50MP ZEISS powered Samsung GN1 primary sensor with an f/1.57 lens and support for OIS, followed by a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide-angle micro-gimbal sensor with an f/2.2 lens that doubles as a macro lens, along with a 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 portrait shooter with f/2.08 aperture, and finally an 8-megapixel periscope OVO8A10 camera with 5x optical zoom and f/3.4 aperture. At the front, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 lens. The smartphone also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner along with the traditional security options.
Regarding the connectivity options, the newly launched Vivo X60 Pro+ 5G supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has packed a 4,200mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging and the same runs FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It weighs 190 grams.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ 5G will be sold with a price tag of ₹69,990 from April 2. It will be available in a leather finish in Emperor Blue colour.
