The very popular Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its new smartphones in the market of China and that is Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro. Well, both the smartphones were in the headlines from the past couple of weeks and now it is coming with a really cool design along with the heavy specifications on the board. The devices are also coming with the power of the Samsung Exynos 1080 mobile chipset. Vivo X60
The device sports a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2376 X 1080 pixels resolution along with a 19.8:9 aspect ratio, it also supports 120Hz refresh rate, and P3 colour gamut. Thesmartphone also features a punch-hole setup at the centre of the display and the same also supports HDR10 as well as HDR10+. It is also coming with the octa-core Exynos 1080 SoC, along with ARM Mali-G78 GPU and that is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone is coming with up to 256 GB of internal storage.
Now coming to the camera department, Vivo X60 features a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, along with four-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS). followed by a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 13-megapixel portrait shooter. The device is also coming with a 32-megapixel front facing camera. It also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Talking about the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 11 with the newly announced OriginOS 1.0 on top and the device is coming with 4,300mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Vivo X60 Pro
The smartphone is coming with the identical specifications to the vanilla variant but it comes with 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The back camera of the smartphone makes a major difference between the vanilla variant as the Pro variant comes with quad rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.48 lens and OIS support, followed by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 13-megapixel portrait shooter, and an 8-megapixel periscope shooter with an f/3.4 aperture. The periscope shooter will offer 5x optical zoom and 60x super zoom. The camera setup is also coming with a laser autofocus sensor.
It is coming with 4,200mAh and the remaining specifications are the same.
Pricing and availability
The newly announced Vivo X60 is priced at CNY 3,498 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant whereas the 8GB + 256GB storage option of the phone has a price tag of CNY 3,798, and the 12GB + 256GB storage option is available at CNY 3,998. Now coming to the Vivo X60 Pro, that is priced at CNY 4,498. The smartphones will available in China from January 8 and there is no information about the availability of the same in other parts of the world.
