Around 4 months ago, Vivo introduced its current flagship smartphone series called the Vivo X70 series globally and it is now believed that the company is all set to bring the successor of the smartphone series and its upcoming devices will be dubbed as the Vivo X80 series. According to the source, the Chinese smartphone brand is expected to Launch 3 devices in the upcoming smartphone series — Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+. It is reported that all the upcoming devices will feature an AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the upcoming Vivo X80 will feature a 6.56-inch LTPO display with Full HD+ screen resolution, the Vivo X80 Pro and Pro+ variants will offer a 6.78-inch LTPO display with Full HD+ and Quad HD+ resolution.
It is also reported that the upcoming Vivo X80 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC while the X80 Pro will have the power of MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and the Vivo X80 Pro+ will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is also claimed that the Vivo X80 will feature LPDDR4X RAM while the Pro models will have up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and all the devices will have UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The most premium smartphone of the series will feature a 50MP primary lens along with a 49MP Sony IMX598 sensor, a 50MP sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP lens with 5x optical zoom. In terms of the front camera, the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro are tipped to feature a 44MP camera while the X80 Pro+ will offer a 50MP sensor.
It is also reported that the smartphone series will run on the latest Android 12 operating system and the company will definitely layer its latest OriginOS Ocean on top. The upcoming Vivo X80 will have 55W fast charging support while the Pro models will feature 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
