WhatsApp recently introduced a new feature in the beta version that enabled users to create a group while forwarding a message and now the company has updated the capability by offering group permissions while creating a group.
The new capability is available in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.16.3 and WhatsApp Beta for iOS 2.23.15.70 or newer. The new setup is replacing the current set up which offers various permissions for the group only after creating one.
WhatsApp will be offering the Group Permissions option and the same with enable you to make the needful settings for your new group like whether group participants can edit group settings like disappearing messages timer, name of the group, description, and more. The option will also enable you to decide whether participants can send messages in the group or add new participants to the group.
