The highly anticipated multi device support of WhatsApp is finally reported to roll out and the company will roll out the same first on the iOS platform later this month and the report says that WhatsApp will roll out the feature on the Android platform next month. It is worth mentioning that the feature is currently available in the beta version on both platforms.
With the new feature, you are not required to be online on your smartphone. It is worth mentioning that previously you need to have a stable internet connection on your smartphone to be able to use the instant messaging application on your computerÂ
The upcoming multi device feature will enable you to link up to 4 devices and one phone at a time. The device will be disconnected if the phone stays inactive for 14 days. Live location feature will not work on the new feature but the other Whatsapp features will be available on the multi device feature.
Apart from this, it is also reported that WhatsApp is rolling out the message reaction feature on the beta version and that means we can expect the same feature on the stable version in the near future.Â
With the message action feature, you can able to long press on a message to showcase your reaction to that particular message.
