Just yesterday, we updated that WhatsApp is working on a new feature which will allow you to switch between voice and video call. And now we have yet another report which suggests, that the world’s most popular instant messaging application is working on its voice messaging feature to make it more simple.
WhatsApp implemented the voice messaging feature since its introduction, and now the developers of the instant messaging application want to make things easier for its user while recording their voice to send it as a message. Right now, we have to hold the microphone icon to record voice and need to release the button to send it as a message to our dear and dear ones. And sometimes it creates irritation as if our finger slip the voice message will be incomplete. And now the Facebook-owned instant messaging application wants to resolve this issue.
According to WABetaInfo, for beta testers now have more freedom with the voice messages. As now you will able to press down the microphone button to enter into the recording mode, and after about half a second you will see a lock pop-up and it can be swipe-up to unlock and to the recording mode.

With this feature you will no need to keep your finger on the record button, which means now onwards you will not able to face the situation of incomplete voice messages. It is worth to mention that users can’t able to type or view media while in the recording mode. Moreover, the recording mode also has a cancel option by sliding it which is really handy if there is any fault while recording.
Right now, the feature is under testing and there is no information about the availability of the new feature.
