After implementing ChatGPT in the Windows operating system, now Microsoft has rolled out a new update for Windows 11 and that will make you to use ChatGPT without opening the Microsoft Edge browser. The latest update of Windows 11 via PowerToys widget and the same will enable you to access ChatGPT without opening the browser. Well, that means after updating your operating system you can able to directly use ChatGPT from your desktop just like any other application or software.
The new plugin is developed by ChatGPT plugin developer, Simone Franco and the same integrates through the PowerToys Run. It is a search launcher for files, folders, and apps on the system. The plugin still under development stage and require finetuning.
With the new plugin, it will again enable uses to use ChatGPT without opening the Microsoft Edge browser and it is against the strategy of Microsoft as the company trying hard to promote the browser.
It is also said that the user is required to open an OpenAI account together with a randomly generated OpenAI API key. It will also enable to set a keyboard shortcut for the ChatGPT as well.
