Now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the company is planning to bring a new ID verification procedure and that is meant to tackle fake ID and impersonation.
According to the latest information, the company is collaborating its hand with a third party company Au10tix, known for providing identity intelligence services. The information shared will be kept by both X and Au10tix, with biometric data stored for up to 30 days.
It is also said that users need to submit government issued ID along with a selfie for the verification procedure. It is worth mentioning that there is no official confirmation about the same.
