Xiaomi 12 series was introduced in the market of China last year and the same is one of the first batches of devices with the power of the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor. The Chinese electronics giant has also confirmed to launch the device in the market of India very soon without revealing the exact launching date of the smartphone. Having said that, it is rumoured to be launched in the country before the end of this month
But now the availability information of the new Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone has been officially confirmed as the landing page on the device is live on the popular shopping website Amazon India. That means the device will be available on Amazon India alongside the official website of the Chinese brand in the country.
Specifications of Xiaomi 12 Pro
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ E5 AMOLED display with 3200 X 1440 pixels resolution along with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. The display is also featuring 1,500 nits of peak brightness as well as a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It has the support of a 480Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is also featuring a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) backplane technology. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Xiaomi 12 Pro houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an OIS-supported wide-angle f/1.9 lens along with a 50-megapixel portrait sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. It is also featuring a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor.
