The much awaited Xiaomi 15 Ultra is believed to be announced in China on February 20 and the company has confirmed to launch the device in the global markets on March 2. Going through the newly leaked images, we can see that the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a redesigned circular rear camera module and it is different from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s rectangular layout. The upcoming device will be available in black, white, and dual-tone black-and-white options.
The upcoming device is also reported to feature a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution along with Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 protection, and the device will feature an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate. It is also reported that the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra will come with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
It is also reported that the device will be housing a massive 5,410mAh battery along with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging, and the company will be including the wired charger inside the box. The upcoming device will also feature an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The device is reported to feature three 50MP sensors (primary, ultrawide, and telephoto) and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom. The device will also come with a 32MP front camera. It was previously reported that the company will be using a 1-inch-type Sony LYT-900 sensor.
It is expected that the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone will come with a starting price of €1,499 in the markets of Europe.
