Just like the vanilla variant, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max are also powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor along with a secondary display on the back. The devices run on the latest Android 16 with a layer of HyperOS 3 on top. The devices also feature a Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup. The newly announced Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and Xiaomi 17 Pro feature a 6.9-inch and 6.3-inch main displays, respectively. The 17 Pro Max supports 2K resolution and Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass protection. Both devices feature secondary M10 displays at the back with 3,500 nits brightness, which can be used to set alarms, create AI portraits, AI pets, and more.
Xiaomi calls the secondary screen as the “Magic Back Screen,” and the same will enable you to capture selfies with the rear main camera and preview shots taken by others. You will also get to the “Post-it Notes” feature and the same allows you to pin important information to the back screen with one tap. With an additional case, you can convert the devices into a handheld game console.
The devices are powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The devices run on the latest Android 16 with HyperOS 3, which introduces a Dynamic Island-like HyperIsland feature as well.
