The Chinese brand Xiaomi announced a collaboration with Google at the MWC 2023, and brings more features to the MIUI Gallery. Xiaomi has also revealed the latest Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi Pro phones will come with a free 6-month trial of the premium Google One 2 TB plan as well.
Xiaomi and Google will enable users to view all backed-up content from both platforms directly in the MIUI Gallery and Google Photos apps. The new integration will make things easier for users to manage their media and access their memories without worrying about its original location.
That’s not all, the edits or deletions which you made to photos in either the MIUI Gallery or Google Photos will be automatically reflected in the other app as well.
Apart from this, Xiaomi has also announced that its latest flagship smartphone series is also getting free 6 months trial of the Google One 2 TB plan. Moreover, the upcoming selected devices of the brand will also receive a 100 GB Google One Plan. The plan will include access to features like Magic Eraser, extra Google Meet time, and much more.
It is also revealed that the company will reduce the impact of climate change with its 40 eco friendly products. Xiaomi we will start product carbon footprint assessment to control the impact of its business towards the environment.
Xiaomi has also revealed that it has conducted an LCA carbon footprint analysis on its latest and greatest flagship smartphone, in a collaboration with an external carbon data analysis and certification organization.
