The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi not only produces smartphone but the company develops and sell various electronic items including healthcare products, and now the company has launched a new healthcare product called Mi Body Composition Scale.
The company says that the Mi Body Composition Scale can help you to know the composition of your body, as it provides a variety of health and fitness data. The newly launched product can provide information about muscle mass, bone mass, body fat, weight, water content, BMI, and more.
The all new Mi Body Composition Scale is powered by an advanced Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) and a “series of complex algorithms”. And users can access all this information through the Mi Fit app that can be installed on the smartphone. Moreover, the Mi Fit app, will also allow you to track your progress and see how other people are doing.
The device also allows you to create up to 16 profiles for other family members which includes children, and it also has LED light to display various reading. The LED light will light-up after 3 seconds of a user’s steps on the device, and it also adjusts the brightness automatically to ensure good availability according to the lighting conditions.
The Mi Body Composition Scale is backed on 4 AAA batteries and the company provides the battery in the box, and the device is compatible with the Android devices which runs on Android 4.4 and above, it is a compatible with iOS 8.0 and above. Users can sync data with their smartphones via Bluetooth. Speaking about the pricing and availability, it comes with the price tag of ₹1,999 and it will be available through mi.com and Mi home stores.
