Back in last year, Xiaomi unveiled the Poco F1 with Snapdragon 845 chipset and came with the affordable price tag. Well, now the company cuts the pricing of the smartphone again and makes more pocket-friendly. So, let’s check out the new pricing of the Poco F1.
The base variant i.e. 6 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage option will now available for ₹18,000, while the 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage variant is now priced at ₹19,000. Having said that, the high-end variant – 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage variant receives a whooping ₹5,000 price cut, and now it will be yours for ₹23,000. Specification of Poco F1
The device sports 6.18 inch Full HD+ notched display and have 2246 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and it is protected with 2.5D curved and Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chipset and it also has the LiquidCool technology which will make the device cool during heavy usage. The device is paired with 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM, along with Adreno 630 GPU, and the company claims that the device is coming with 30% improved performance.
In terms of storage, the smartphone is coming in three storage variants; 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM with 128 GB of storage, and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB of internal storage. Well, if the storage is not enough for you then you can expand the storage up to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
The Poco F1 comes with dual camera setup and that’s in the combination of 12 megapixel (Sony IMX363 sensor with 1.4-micron pixel, dual-pixel autofocus, and it is the same sensor that Xiaomi uses in the devices such as Mi 8 and Mi Mix 2s) + 5 megapixel (Samsung sensor). That said, the device sports a 20 megapixel front facing camera with HDR and AI Beautify. Moreover, the company claims that the smartphone will give good quality of images even in the low light. And the camera department also has scene recognition features.
The device comes with the fingerprint scanner and it is placed at the back along with the face unlock feature which is powered by the IR light and it gives more secure way to unlock the device with the user’s face. That said, the company also says that the device can be unlocked with the face unlock feature even in the dark.
The smartphone supports include 4G+ (first device to feature this, and it will give good connectivity and faster data), VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 which is based on MIUI 9.6, and the company promised to roll out the Android 9.0 update before the end of this year. That said, the MIUI 9.6 is coming in a special way in the Poco F1 and it is dubbed as MIUI for Poco, and it offers close to the stock Android UI. As users will get the launcher and app drawer just like a stock Android device.
Finally, the device is coming with a massive 4,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support and Quick Charge 3 (charger bundled in box).
