Xiaomi Mi 5X unveiled with 5.5 inch HD display and dual camera setup

After many leaks, Xiaomi has finally unveiled the Xiaomi Mi 5X in an event in China. The company has launched the device, under the category of mid-range. Let’s find out all the details of the device.

The Xiaomi Mi 5X is coming with a full metal uni-body design, and it also has rounded corners. It features 5.5 inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display, with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 octa core processor, and the device is paired with 4 GB RAM along with Adreno 506 GPU. The device has 64 GB internal storage and can be expandable upto 128 GB via microSD card.

It has dual camera setup consists of two cameras at back, 12 megapixel with wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture + 12 megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture, PDAF, Portrait Mode, 2x lossless zoom and dual-tone LED flash. It has 5 megapixel front facing camera.

The device has dual Hybrid SIM slot (supports Nano SIM + Nano SIM/ Nano SIM + microSD card) with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity, and it features a fingerprint scanner, DHS Audio Calibration Algorithm, Standalone Audio Amplifier.

It runs on Android Nougat v7.1.1 which is based on MIUI 9, and it is worth to mention that Mi 5X is the first device to feature all new MIUI 9, and the device is backed on 3080 mAh battery.
