Xiaomi is expected to launch its new folding device dubbed the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 (or Mix Fold 6) and today the live image of the device appears online that offers a look at the phone before its official announcement.
Going through the leaked image, it is the engineering unit of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 and it confirms that the device will be running HyperOS 4 based on Android 17. The latest report comes after the device received a new certification in China, suggesting the device is around the corner. The upcoming device is tipped to feature Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O3 processor.
It is reported that the device will be coming with a wider and more compact foldable form factor. The device is expected to feature a 7.5-inch to 7.6-inch foldable display with improved crease and the device is expected to feature a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The upcoming device is also reported to come with a 6,000mAh battery with wireless charging. The upcoming device is expected to come with full water resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
