The latest Xiaomi Pad 8 comes with an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD display with 345 PPI along with up to 144Hz adaptive refresh, 12-bit color, 800 nits brightness, and HDR10, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision support. The device also comes with TÜV triple eye protection, full DC dimming, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The company has also introduced the Matte Edition and it brings AG nano-etching. It will be reducing reflections by 70% and filter 99% of stray light.
It has the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and Qualcomm AI Engine. The device runs HyperOS 3, bringing features like a redesigned lockscreen, dynamic AI-generated wallpapers, and a revamped multitasking system with hover previews, 1:9 quick splits, and improved split-screen layouts. The device is also introduced with a PC-level browser with desktop-like UI and extensive keyboard shortcuts, as well as seamless collaboration across iOS/macOS devices.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 features a 13MP rear camera with 4K@30fps video and a variety of shooting modes. The device also comes with an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the front along with AI-powered portrait centering, video beauty modes, and real-time fill light.
