It is reported that the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is all set to join in the lead of smartphone chipset maker and the company will join alongside the brands including Apple, Google, Samsung, and Huawei so let’s get into the article to check out the new piece of information.
We know that Qualcomm and MediaTek are not the only chipset makers in the industry but the popular smartphone brands (that I mentioned above) are also offering the devices with the self developed chipset. Now the source has said that Xiaomi will be bringing its own chipset very soon.
It is reported that the Chinese company is working on its self developed chipset and the same will be based on TSMC’s N4P process and will house a 5G modem by Unisoc. The source also says that the performance of the chipset will be similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
