The capability of automatic download Shorts for offline viewing and the picture-in-picture feature was only available for Android, while on iOS, it was experimental feature. Now the capability is available on iPhone. The Jump Ahead feature of YouTube Premium allows users to skip to key moments of a video, and the feature is now available on gaming consoles and smart televisions.
We also know that the YouTube Premium subscription includes access to YouTube Music and the same has a separate application. Previously, you could choose a higher audio quality in the YouTube Music application or open the main application but now you will be able to select the high quality from the audio settings on the main YouTube application on both iOS and Android platforms.
