The subscription cost of the service has now increased, and it is currently applicable in a selected region only.
YouTube has increased the pricing in the United States and the individual plan is now $15.99 per month or $159.99 per year, which was previously set at $13.99 and $139.99, respectively. The family plan is now $26.99 per month, up from $22.99. The student plan is $8.99, up from $7.99.
The company has also increased the pricing of the YouTube Premium Lite package and now it has a price tag of $8.99 per month. There is no information about the price hike in other parts of the world at the moment of time.
