The world’s video hub YouTube is very popular across the world, but the platform is developed by Google and that is why it was only available on Google powered devices such as Chromecast and it was not available on Amazon Fire TV devices. However, this setup is going to change, as both, the companies have joint their hands and announced that YouTube will be now available for Amazon Fire TV devices very soon.
Having said that, the deal does not include Amazon’s smart display which means the service will not be available Echo Show, on but the report says that both the companies are in the stage of discussion, which means we can expect that they will be later added to the supporting list.
Amazon also clarifies that YouTube will be available on Fire TV devices in the coming months but the application of YouTube TV and YouTube kids will available on Amazon streaming media device later this year. The Fire TV will become fully certified for YouTube that means users can enjoy the first rate video and minimal buffering, the company will also enable support of Alexa voice command for searching the contents.
Moreover, the deal also brings the Prime video application for Chromecast and Android TV devices in the coming months and with this user who has a 4K Chromecast or 4K smart TV can enjoy selected contents from Prime video at the 4K resolution, which means you can enjoy the content at its maximum beauty. The company also said that the Prime video application will also become Universally available on Android TV, till now, the service was limited to select the devices which was running on Android TV OS.
