Another event at MWC, another smartphone unveiled with 5G support. Many brands like LG and Huawei unveiled their smartphones, which have 5G connectivity. But its good to see that not only the mainstream brands, but brands like ZTE are also jumping into this 5G race. ZTE has announced two smartphones at the event, one is the flagship Axon 10 Pro 5G and other is Blade V10 that falls in the midrange segment. So let’s have a look at both of them.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G:
So this is ZTE’s 5G representative smartphone of the event. It sports 6.47-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution and 398ppi. It has water drop notch, which leads to the 19.5:9 aspect ratio. This device comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 octa core processor clocked at 2.4Ghz along with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with 512GB of expandable storage. There is triple rear camera setup that has 48MP primary sensor with f1.8 lens, OIS, PDAF and pixel binning. Secondary one is a 20MP ultra wide-angle sensor. Lastly the third one has an 8MP telephoto sensor with OIS and PDAF. There is a dual tone LED flash as well. On the front a 20MP sensor is placed.
This Axon 10 Pro 5G runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, maybe with there own custom skin on top. It packs in a 4000mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge 4 and Qi Wireless Charging support. There is a fingerprint sensor beneath the display. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, but lacks the 3.5mm jack. Regarding connectivity options, it has Qualcomm’s X50 modem that gives 5G support in it, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and Type-C port. It has a single Blue color option.
ZTE Blade V10:
This is the mid-range smartphone by the company. Though ZTE didn’t reveal the detailed specifications, let’s talk about what we know as of now. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080) display with water drop notch. It comes with a 2.1Ghz octa core processor beneath it, expecting a Snapdragon 6xx processor here. It has 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage respectively. There is a dual camera setup at the back with primary 16MP sensor and secondary 5MP depth sensor, along with LED flash. On the front there is a whopping 32MP camera, might be the same sensor which is present on Vivo V15 Pro. It has a 3100mAh battery with Type-C port. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back. It comes with Black, Green, and Gradient Blue color options.
Pricing & Availability:
- ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G will be available in China and Europe by first half of this year.
- ZTE Blade V10 will be available in China, Europe, and South America in March this year.
- No information about the pricing of both the devices.
