Microsoft digital assistant Cortana debuted in Windows 10 last year, and now the makers bring more of it by bringing it right to the lock screen with the anniversary update. You will be able to order Cortana to make a note, play music, or set a reminder and many more without even login to your PC.
To disable Cortana, follow the steps.
- Open Cortana by clicking the button on taskbar or pressing Windows key + S.
- Now click the settings button.
- On the settings page, scroll down and find option ‘Use Cortana even when my device is locked’.
- Simply turn off.
That’s it! You successfully disabled Cortana from lock screen of your computer.
