If you are a fan of Google Now Launcher, then you have a bad news. As Google has decided that they will stop giving support to the Google Now Launcher. According to source, the company has sent an email to Google Mobile Service (GMS) partners. And says that Google will remove Google Now Launcher app from the Google Play Store, from the first quarter of 2017, which means that you will no longer be able to download the launcher from the Google Play Store by the end of March.

Google will not allow you to download the Google Now Launcher app from the Play Store, but the company is not killing the app completely. As Google still plans to give support to the app, if anyone has already installed the app on their devices with updates to the Google search app. The GMS partners will no longer be able to launch new devices with Google Now Launcher after March 1.2017. However, existing devices can continue to use the launcher, and any new Android devices launched after March 1 have no need to required to replace the app with some other application.
One of the main reason behind the change is that third party Android devices can integrate the Google Now panel, with any launcher app. So, Google might be thought there is no need for any separate launcher by their own. Right now Google has two launchers on the Google Play Store, Google Now launcher and the Pixel launcher. The pixel launcher went live in October 2016 with the Pixel smartphones.
