Nokia is gearing up to offer 4G connectivity in the moon as the company has joined its hand with Lunar Outpost and Intuitive Machines. The partnership will be resulting in the development of a 4G communications system specifically designed to withstand the harsh conditions in space.
The Nova-C lunar lander, developed by Intuitive Machines will be transporting the system and other payloads to the Moon, it is worth mentioning that in 2020, NASA selected Nokia for this ambitious project.
It is also said that Nokia is planning to test the lander’s short and long-range communication capabilities at various proximities and the network will play a crucial role as astronauts can communicate.
