It is said that the newly announced chipsets can offer 15% faster gaming performance than the current version. The latest Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus comes with a price tag of $200, while the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus has a price tag of $300. The latest 250K Plus features a 6P+12E configuration and the 270K Plus has an 8P+16E configuration.
Intel has also said that the memory interconnects are running 900MHz faster, which significantly reduces latency. The company is also offering the Intel Binary Optimization Tool. It actually optimises code to run faster on the Intel CPU. Both the latest Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and Core Ultra 7 270K Plus support all current motherboards with an 800-series chipset.
