The first half of 2018 is reaching its end in few days, and we have seen all expected flagship launches like OnePlus 6, LG G7 ThinQ, and Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+. Now it’s time to move on to second half of this year. Talking about tier 1 flagships of the second half, one of the most popular line-ups is Samsung’s ‘Note’ series. This year we are expecting Galaxy Note 9 to get launch with features like an in-display fingerprint sensor. Though the chances of in-display fingerprint sensor are 50-50, Samsung might make upgrades in storage.
A new rumor is suggesting that the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 will have up to 512GB of internal storage. The predecessor, Galaxy Note 8, had the storage variants of 64/128/256GB along with 6GB of RAM. This year we might see 8GB of RAM with 512GB of internal storage in the most high-end variant. We have seen 512GB storage previously only in Huawei Porsche Edition Mate RS, which was indeed a limited edition phone, not a commercial phone. But if this rumor turns out to be true, the Galaxy Note 9 will become first commercial smartphone to have this huge internal storage.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Talking about the leakster, this one has a decent track record for Samsung leaks in the past. But as this one is every early stage of Note 9 leaks, and there’s no strong proof like the benchmark, take this leak with a pinch of salt. We are going to see a lot of Galaxy Note 9 rumors & leaks in the coming months. So stay tuned with us for more information.
