The popular OTT platform in the country is now adding user profiles to its app and it is one of the essential features which a streaming app to offer and the same was demanding for some time. The new feature will offer a more personalized experience as different users can enjoy their taste of content instead of all the recommendations which we see on one primary profile like now.
It is worth mentioning that other popular streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video already have this feature.
Having said that, Disney Plus Hotstar is not offering the feature at the moment but it will be available soon to all users. It is confirmed that a user can able to create 7 profiles on a single account.
How to Create a Profile on Disney Plus Hotstar?
As per the official Hotstar support page, the application version 22.11.21.2 will enable you to create a profile. You can follow the steps which are listed below to create a profile on Disney Plus Hotstar.
First of all, update and open the Disney Plus Hotstar app on your Android device.
Now you need to go to My Space and select ‘+’ Add Profile option.
After that, add a profile name and choose an Avatar or a profile picture for your profile, and setup the content according to your taste.
Once done, click on Save and a new profile will be created.
