Airtel tested the 1.8 GHz band in Hyderabad and it was a successful test for the Telecom operator. The company has already upgraded the network using Ericsson hardware in India and now Airtel can able to enable the next generation connectivity across the country with a push of a button.
Unfortunately, the Government of the country is yet to allot The spectrum for the next generation connectivity and the auction is scheduled later this year. That means we need to wait a couple of months to enjoy and experience the next generation connectivity in India.
