Amazon has launched the Alexa prime music and Trio of Echo products in Canada after this much long time. So, let’s find out all the available details of the devices.
In general, US and Canada have the same official language with some notable differences which could really confuse Alexa in terms of performance. This is the only reason that Amazon has not done this before.Now the company has researched a lot in this language characteristics and improved the skills.
The Alexa would support skills like TD Bank, TELUS, CBC, The Weather Channel, Air Canada and lot more. In future, more skill would be added. In terms of development, currently Candian English is supported and Candian French is not supported. In addition to the Alexa, Amazon also launched prime music which supports 1 million songs and expected to increase its number in future.
Alexa can’t be used without Echo devices. So Amazon has launched the Trio of Echo devices like Echo Dot, Echo and Echo Plus in Canada. As you all know what they are made for. Most importantly the Echo Plus features a built-in smart home hub and can directly link with other Zigbee products, such as Hue lights and other controllers.
Canadian residents can pre-order all three Echo products, with the regular Echo going for $100 CDN. These devices will ship after December 5 to all who preorders.
