The Taiwanese electronics brand Asus announced a gaming monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate which is the world’s first device to feature such an amazing setup. Well, the company has announced yet another set of products at the ongoing CES 2020 event. So, without wasting any time let’s dive into the article to check out all the available information of the new Asus products.
Let’s start with the new Asus ExpertBook B9450 laptop and the company claims it as the world’s lightest 14-inch laptop with just 870 grams. It also comes with the MIL-STD-810G military standard, and the machine is powered by the 10th gen Intel processors paired with up to 16GB RAM. The laptop also comes with an optional 66Whr battery, and supports the connectivity options include Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and Wi-Fi 6. Moreover, it also has an IR camera, webcam shield, and fingerprint scanner.
The company has also unveiled the ZenBook Duo, and it offers a compact screen and powered by 10th gen Intel processors. The laptop is coming with two screen sizes ā 14-inch full-HD display and a secondary 12.6-inch display just above the keyboard. It comes with up to 16GB RAM, and has an optional GeForce MX250 GPU.
Along with that, the company has also updated its Vivobook S13, Vivobook S14, and Vivobook S15 laptops with new 10th gen Intel CPUs, along with the Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and support up to 16GB RAM.
Asus has also launched the new Chromebook Flip C436 along with a 360-degree hinge. The device sports a 14-inch full-HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, and the same is powered by 10th gen Intel Core processors. The machine will also available in either 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR3 memory, it also comes with M.2 SSDs of up to 512GB. It also supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, and a pair of USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports. and offers a 42Whr battery.
That’s not all, the company has also unveiled the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 and it sports a 15.6-inch full-HD display with up to 240Hz refresh rate. The machine is powered by AMD’s all-new Ryzen 7 4800HS CPU, along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as up to 1TB of SSD storage. It also features Wi-Fi 6, a backlit keyboard, and supports Bluetooth v5 as well. The laptop also ships a 76Whr battery, and the same runs on Windows 10 Pro, the machine also comes with one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C , three USB 3.2 Gen 1 TypeāA, one HDMI 2.0b, and one 3.5mm audio combo jack.
The company also introduced the new ZenScreen MB16ACE portable monitor, and this will help you to use it as a secondary display. It features a 15.6-inch full-HD ultra-slim display, and offers a single USB Type-C port, along with a Smart Case Lite to protect the screen, and it is accompanied with an adjustable stand.
Alongside the monitor, the company has also announced its ProArt series – the ProArt Display PA248QV and ProArt Display PA278QV. Both the new monitors offers great color accuracy with an average Delta E < 2 rating and 100 percent sRGB. The ProArt Display PA278QV sports a 27-inch display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution along with a wide aspect ratio, and comes with DisplayPort 1.2, a Mini DisplayPort, a HDMI 1.4 and Dual-link DVI-D ports. On the other hand, the new ProArt Display PA248QV features a 24.1-inch display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution along with 16:10 aspect ratio. It also offers DisplayPort 1.2, an HDMI 1.4, and legacy D-Sub ports.
The company has also announced essential accessories as well and that includes – ZenWiFi devices along with ROG gaming keyboard, wireless mouse range, and wireless headset at CES.
The ZenWiFi AX Wi-Fi router and it can offer 6,600Mbps speeds when it’s communicating with Wi-Fi 6 devices. It is backed by the AiMesh mesh networking technology and offers two Wi-Fi 6 mesh nodes. It also integrates AiProtection Pro suite of security features.
It is accompanied by the ZenWiFi AC Tri-Band Whole-Home Mesh WiFi System which that includes two AC300 routers. Each of them supports the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard and 802.11n’s 5GHz as well as 2.4GHz spectral bands, which will allow the system to achieve an aggregate speed of 3000Mbps. The new routers backed with AiMesh technology, and come with a lifetime subscription of security updates from Trend Micro, along with the AiProtection Pro security suite is also included.
Asus has also unveiled the new ZenWiFi Voice standalone wireless router and it also comes with Amazon Alexa support, and supports the Wi-Fi 5 router connectivity with MU-MIMO support, and the AiMesh functionality.
Now coming to the In the ROG range of devices, the company has unveiled the ROG Strix Scope TKL Deluxe gaming-first keyboard which offers per-key RGB LED lighting, along with the backlight ROG logo, and customizable front-edge light bar.
Alongside that, the company has also introduced a range of new wireless mouses ā the ROG Chakram, ROG Strix Impact II Wireless, and the ROG Pugio II. The new ROG Chakram wireless mouse comes with a dual-mode thumbstick. It has a 16,000 DPI competition-class optical sensor.
While the ROG Strix Impact II Wireless mouse features a 16,000 DPI unit, and uses a 2.4GHz radio frequency link. And the ROG Pugio II wireless mouse comes with a 16,000 DPI optical sensor, and has fully customizable side buttons for left-handed gamers.
Last on the list is the Strix Go 2.4 wireless headset and the device offers a lag-free 2.4GHz RF link, along with a pair of 40mm ASUS Essence drivers and it will offer clean audio with deep bass, and a USB-C wireless transceiver for easy connectivity.
