The Taiwanese brand Asus has launched Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, a budget smartphone from Asus which comes with modern specifications. Will it stand straight against Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro?
Asus smartphones steps into the market with weak modules or heavy pricing list for its Budget Zenfone series. Now Asus has understood its position and its responsibility to go up with what customers feel and their necessity. The result is Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with 2018 trend, it sports 5.99-inch FHD+ FullView display with 2.5D curved glass atop, along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and having 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone gets octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC under its hood coupled with 3/4 GB of RAM, along with Adreno 509 GPU. In terms of storage, the device has 32/64GB of internal storage and a 6 GB variant is expected to be launched soon. The device also allows you to expand the storage via microSD card upto 2 TB.
The main Highlight of the smartphone is its power pack which is 5,000 mAh and supports fast charging combines with a bundled 10W charger. The smartphone comes with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and will get Android P and Q updates.
The optics hold a dual camera setup of 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel shooter at the rear with f/2.2 aperture, bokeh mode and wide-angle shots, and the device also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 85.5-degree wide-angle lens, and 5P lens. Both the rear and front camera has a soft-light LED flash. The 6 GB RAM variant of the device comes with 16 megapixel + 5 megapixel rear camera and 16 megapixel front facing camera other features are same. Other features like Fingerprint support at the back, Face unlocking feature and other connectivity options are standard.
Pricing of the device:
The smartphone is priced at Rs 10,99 for the 3/32 GB variant and Rs 12,999 for the 4/64 variant. The aggressive pricing will really give additional support to the device. The 6/64 GB variant will be priced at 14,999 and will arrive soon. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart and the sale will start on May 3.

- The company offers complete protection which includes broken screen, and any other kinds of software and hardware damages at just ₹49 for a year.
- Vodafone users will get 10 GB additional data (per month) for 12 months on the recharges of Rs. 199 and above for prepaid users.
- Vodafone RED (₹399 plan) users will get the data for a whole year. In addition, users on Vodafone RED 499 plan or above will get the same amount of data for one year and Vodafone RED shield for two years.
