But now it seems that the company is preparing a new tablet dubbed the Asus Pad. Today the first details including the renders and the important specification details of the tablet appear online. Thanks to the guys at Android Headlines for the new details, they says that the upcoming Asus Pad could feature a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to come with Dolby-related enhancements for media playback.
The device is expected to feature slim and symmetrical bezels around the display, and the body seems to come with a metal frame with slightly curved edges for a more comfortable grip. The back panel of the device will be flat and the device will feature a small camera module housing a single rear camera along with an LED flash.
It is reported that the upcoming Asus Pad will be a thin and lightweight construction. The device is also reported to feature stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The upcoming Asus Pad is also expected to come with a 9,000mAh battery with support for fast charging.
