Asus has recently announced the launch date of the highly anticipated gaming smartphone series called the Asus ROG Phone 7 series and the same will be official on April 13 globally. Abhishek Yadav previously revealed some important specifications of the upcoming smartphone series and now the same source is offering more information and also confirms that the smartphone series will include only two models this time. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming smartphone series will not have the Pro model this time. That means the smartphone series will include the Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate.
It is also reported that the smartphone series will not feature optical image stabilization. It is a disappointing element but it’s okay because the smartphone series is not meant for photography but it is for gaming.

Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate smartphones will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor and it will be running on Android 13 out of the box.
It is reported that both devices will be coming with the same triple rear camera setup and the same will be including a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor along with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP macro unit. The devices will also feature a 32MP selfie camera.
The upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate smartphones are reportedly measuring 173 x 77 x 10.3mm thick in terms of dimensions and weigh 239 grams.
It is said that the only difference between the devices will be the RAM and storage options. The source is saying that the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will be coming with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
The vanilla model of the smartphone series was recently spotted on the 3C certification listing and the same revealed that the device will be coming with the support of 65W charging.
