Asus is gearing up to bring the latest taste of the Android operating system to its Asus ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro. The company has announced that the devices now support the beta program of the latest Android 16 operating system.
Interested users can join the beta program and the procedure is very simple as you just need to open the Settings > System > System update, tap the gear icon, and select Enroll in Android preview program. Once accepted, your device will get an OTA update with the beta build.
It is worth mentioning that the beta version of the operating system is likely to include bugs, and you can’t go back to the stable version of Android 15. So install the beta version at your own risk.
Asus is believed to release the stable version of the Android 16 operating system in the early days of 2026.
