Asus has officially introduced its latest router called the Asus RT-BE82U and it is a BE6500-class Wi-Fi 7 router. The device was showcased at CES 2025 and it is available in China with a price tag of 1,499 yuan.

The latest Asus RT-BE82U comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 7 technology along with up to 6500Mbps across the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The device features Multi-Link Operation (MLO) support along with 4K QAM modulation that offers up to 20% better data transfer rates compared to Wi-Fi 6E systems.
It is also supporting a 2.0GHz quad-core Broadcom processor along with 1GB of DDR4 RAM, the device comes with Skyworks front-end modules to strengthen wireless signal output. The device also supports five full-speed 2.5GbE Ethernet ports along with a USB 3.0 port that supports mobile network tethering or storage sharing.
The latest Asus router also features a durable aluminum alloy 3D heatsink, hexagonal honeycomb vents, and an aerodynamic design to improve thermal management. The device also supports RangeBoost+ technology along with AiProtection powered by Trend Micro.
It also supports Asus’s Smart Home Master system that will enable you to create separate SSIDs for IoT devices, children’s devices, and VPN networks. The device is also integrated with NetEase UU Accelerator.
