After the new gaming monitor with 360Hz refresh rate, the Taiwanese brand Asus has announced new laptops at the ongoing CES 2020 event. The newly announced laptops including gaming laptop called Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 along with a new series which has two laptops and that dubbed as the Asus TUF Gaming A15 and TUF Gaming A17. Everything about new Asus laptops
The newly announced Asus laptops are coming with the latest AMD’s Ryzen Mobile 4000-series processors. The ROG Zephyrus G14 is a premium compact model and that offers an optional new ‘AniMe’ LED array on the lid, it is meant to show various animated effects along with the contextual information.
That said, the AniMe feature is coming with a grid of 1,215 individual white mini-LEDs and that will animate with up to 256 levels of brightness. It will allow users to can create new patterns or import existing animations.
Moreover, it will feature Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics and the first to use AMD’s Ryzen Mobile 4000-series processors based on the Zen 2 architecture with up to 8 cores and 16 threads. The company also says that it has developed a unique self-cleaning cooling system.
It has an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. There will be options for a full-HD 120Hz screen as well as a 1440p 60Hz screen. The device will have USB Type-C power delivery and that’s cool.
Coming to the TUF Gaming A15 and A17, both of them feature AMD Ryzen Mobile 4000-series processors, and both the models based on 10th Gen Intel Core CPUs. The CPUs will have up to 8 cores and 16 threads, and it will come with multiple options with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs. The 15-inch variant will be available with up to a 144Hz along with full-HD screen, while the 17-inch model tops out at 120Hz.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the company says that the devices will available in the next few months and there is no information about the pricing. Having said that, Asus confirms that the devices will arrive in the market of India by the second quarter of this year.
