The Taiwan-based brand Asus has officially introduced its new smartphone called the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra and the device is actually a rebranded version of the Asus ROG Phone 8 but with small differences. The newly announced ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra smartphone features a flat frame design and the power button will be working as a fingerprint scanner and the same also supports ASUS’s scroll gesture functionality as well. It is IP68-certified dust and water-resistant.
The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra sports a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display along with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device also offers 2,500 nits peak brightness and it supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The device features a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen.
Speaking about the camera department, the device features a 32MP front-facing selfie camera while the back panel of the latest ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra features a 50MP primary sensor with support for OIS and Gimbal, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP telephoto unit. The device also comes with stereo speakers tuned by Dirac and it also supports Hi-Res audio and Qualcomm aptX lossless audio.
Under the hood, the latest ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The device also features a heat dissipation system. It houses a large 5,500mAh battery along with 67W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The device supports WiFi-7, Bluetooth 5.3, 3.5mm headphone jack among others for connectivity. It runs on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra has a price tag of EUR 999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant while the 16GB + 512GB variant costs EUR 1,099.
