The Taiwanese smartphone brand ASUS has unveiled its new smartphone at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, and the device is called ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite. So, let’s have a look at the specification details of the newly launched ASUS device.
Let’s start with the build of the device, it has glass on the back and front along with the metal frame and the device has 80.3% of a screen-to-body ratio which is really good. The ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite sports 6 inch FullView display with 2.5D curved glass atop, along with the 18:9 aspect ratio and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device is coming with two variants, one is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor, and another variant is powered by Snapdragon 630 processor, and both the value the devices are paired with 3/4 GB RAM. Coming to the storage options, the 3 GB variant of the device will have 32 GB of internal storage, and the 4 GB RAM variant will have 64 GB storage, and the device also allows to expand the storage via microSD card with a dedicated slot.
Moving to the photography department, the smartphone has dual camera setup on both front and back. It has 16 megapixel + 8 megapixel rear camera 120-degree wide-angle lens along with LED flash. Moving to the front side, the device has 20 Megapixel + 8 megapixel camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens along with flash. In terms of connectivity, the device has supports Dual SIM along with four 4G VoLTE connectivity. Moreover, the device also supports fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature for security. It runs on Android Nougat v7.0 with ZenUI 4.0 atop, and the company promises that the operating system can be upgradable to Android Oreo 8.0. And the whole device is backed on 3,300 mAh battery.
In terms of colour choices, the device will be available in Moonlight White, Rouge Red, Midnight Black. The pricing of the device is yet to be announced, and the device will be available from March.
