Asus has launched new device in India, and the device is called Asus ZenFone Zoom S. Actually this is not a new device, the company has launched a smartphone called Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom early in this year. And now the manufacturers launched the same device with new name.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom comes with 5.5 inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protected, with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolutions. It is powered by 2.0 GHz quad core Snapdragon 625 processor, and the device is available in 4 GB RAM. The device has 64 GB storage, and it can be expandable upto 2 TB via MicroSD card.
It has dual rear camera setup, primary camera has 12 megapixel SuperPixel sensors with PDAF, Laser AF, f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX362 sensor, three-axis, Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization RAW Support, 4K video recording and dual tone LED flash. And the secondary camera has 12 megapixel with 2.3x optical zoom, 12x digital zoom and f/2.6 aperture. There is also a 13 megapixel PixelMaster 3.0 front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, Five-element Largan and screen flash.
The device also has features fingerprint scanner at the back of the device, the device has dual Hybrid SIM (Nano SIM + Nano SIM / Nano SIM +microSD card) support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity and it also has USB Type-C. It runs on Android Marshmallow v6.0 which is based ZenUI 3.0, and the device can be upgradeable to Android Nougat v7.0. The device is backed on 5000 mAh battery with support for Reverse Charging.
