When I was thinking of buying a laptop I had two choices. My first choice was the XPS 15 9560 and the second one was the Dell Inspiron 15 7570. Both were really making me crazy. It was a situation that if I go for any one of them then I would have to compromise something, both had something or the other as special.
The crazy look and the InfinityEdge of the XPS made me really mad for buying it. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it here in my place (India, Kerala, Kochi). Now I don’t regret that the Dell Inspiron is developed by the team of developers who created the XPS 15. You might be thinking what’s so special in that? Aren’t you? One Month of my usage
My expectation for an XPS 15 gave me a bad impression towards the Inspiron 15 even before unboxing it. This is quite often If you are expecting for a product of 1760$ and you end up buying 1250$ one You may have a bad feeling and would think bad about the product. But my one month with the Dell Inspiron 15 completely changed my mind. The product was super cool, the very first unboxing made me love it. It is super cool and stylish. The thin Bezels gave the Laptop a completely new look. The image below would give you an idea how it looks like.
When it comes to performance The Inspiron 15 is a Beast. It could handle any sorts of Operations related to Graphics, Games. I am a person who uses Two or Three IDE’S at the same time, like Android Studio, Atom, Visual Studio etc. Not just that, Applications like Premiere, PhotoShop, Chrome etc are always open. I felt that the 8 GB Ram Variant is not that Enough. Around 75% of the Ram is always consumed during my usage. The Inspiron 15 7570 has a 16 GB Ram variant but was not available when I bought the laptop. Even the Touch Screen version was also not available at that time on India, But now it’s available in Dell’s official website.
Battery: Usually, I would charge the laptop to 100% and won’t be charging it till evening (I always use the power saver). That means you could get a whole day standby, but you would have to turn on the battery saver on. Let me remind Playing games would drain the battery in hours. I am not interested in Gaming. I always use my Laptop for internet browsing, editing, coding, blogging, Vlogging, music etc. The laptop has the best battery when compared to other laptops. The Dell provides a lot of customizations for extending your battery life by reducing power consumption. So the overall performance of the battery life is Above Excellent.
Speaker: The speakers are pretty good but not that loud (It’s an inbuilt speaker). But the MaxxAudioPro could boost the audio a lot and could maintain the problem of loudness. The sound is super clear and is above average when it comes to the speakers.
Display: This is the main attraction of the Dell Inspiron 15 7570. The display is 15.6-inch Full HD IPS Display with a Narrow Border. You would simply love it on the very first look itself. According to me, The display is Excellent.
Connectivity: Noting to say more about it. My experience was pretty dope. Its fast and got a very good WiFi and Bluetooth. It’s simply Excellent.
Processing Speed: Speed is the most important thing for a computer. The Dell Inspiron 15 7570 comes out with an excellent performance speed. Like I said before, I am a person who uses more than 5 application at a time and the majority of them would be IDE’s. I am impressed with its speed and would rate it an Excellent.
Compatibility: Its compatible with almost all the Applications and Games. As it’s not a Gaming PC it does shows some problems while playing heavy games with max resolution. So I would rate it Above Average. If you are not a Gamer then the rating is an another Excellent.
Support: Dell is one of the best Companies out there that creates Laptops. I am a fan of Dell Laptops. They are just amazing when it comes to Laptops. The support is fantastic with the Dell support assistant application you could fix almost all the problems. You could call them or Email and tell your problem they would help you fix it. I would give it an Excellent rating.
Is it the World Perfect Laptop?
I could not say a Yes or a No for this. The Dell Inspiron is an amazing Laptop with its overall features. But it does have something that could make me say a No to this Question. The main thing is the TrackPad, It’s not at all good. I almost don’t use them. I have a wireless mouse an would be using it always. The trackpad is not that good. Then the next one is its camera, well that’s not a big deal still the cam on the Dell Inspiron is not that good. That’s it, the Dell Inspiron 15 7570 has these few problems to be pointed out.
Overall the Dell Inspiron 15 7570 is an ideal laptop for buying and its one of the top laptops available out their on the market.
