Facebook, the social networking app which we all use in our daily life to get connected with our dear and near ones. And if you are a person like me, spends lots of time in the app and scrolls over tons of images and videos. then you must be burning out lots of your data, by loading the images and autoplay videos because it consumes lots of data from your balance.
But actually you can save all these data with the Facebook’s own data saver tool, if you are unaware about this tool. Then I will tell you how to enable the feature, in this article. Read on.
Before we get into the procedure, let me tell you how the feature will work. The tool fills your feed with smaller and compressed version of images as you scroll so each new post will not consume much data. And the tool will also prevent videos from autoplaying, and you can also set to autoplay the video while using Wi-Fi.
To enable the feature, follow the steps:
- Open the Facebook app and tap on the ‘More’ tab in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and find ‘Data Saver’ under help and settings.
- Now you will see one toggle on this page, just enable the ‘Data Saver’.
- After enabling the ‘Data Saver’, you will see a new option will appear called ‘Always turn off Data Saver on Wi-Fi’. And it is enabled by default, when it is enabled ‘Data Saver’ turns off automatically whenever you connect with a Wi-Fi network. If you want to keep saving data on Wi-Fi network too, then simply disable it.
That’s it! Now you are able to save your valuable data while using Facebook, if you have any kind of doubts in your mind then share it in the comment section below. I will be happy to help you!
