From recent times 360-degree photos and videos usage has been increased a lot, people uploads 360 degree photos or videos on different social media platforms which supports it. YouTube allows users to upload 360-degree video only, but Facebook the social networking giant allows users to upload 360-degree photos as well as videos. And to give better experience, the company has now launched virtual reality app which is called Facebook 360.
The Facebook’s new virtual reality app for Samsung Gear VR is called Facebook 360, and with this app user can view all the 360 degree photos and videos which is shared on Facebook in the Samsung Gear VR and the app also makes it easier to explore.
Through the new app users can view 360-degree stuffs which is shared by friends and the pages you follows, but it will not show in the news feed. Now it has four different feeds; explore, following, saved and timeline, also if you can’t just view the 360-degree photos and videos in Gear VR with this app but can also react to it.
Head to the Oculus website and download the Facebook 360 app, and right now it is only available for the Samsung Gear VR along with a supported device. Facebook has said that they are planning to expand the new app to more platforms.
