The social networking giant Facebook never settles down from bringing new features into company’s owned apps i.e. WhatsApp, Instagram, and now in the latest bid the Facebook has launched a new service called Watch. It is a platform for watching videos and in this way, Facebook is all set to compete with YouTube.

The all new Watch, video platform can be view across different devices such as smartphone, desktop, laptop and within the TV app. On the all new Watch, users will be able to view live or recorded episodes of different shows. Right now the platform has shows like Nas Daily, Gabby Bernstein, Kitchen Little and Major League Baseball which will broadcast live.
The new section is divided into two sections, which are Discover and Watchlist. As the name suggests, the Discover section will help users to find new and different types of shows based on popular as well as what your friends are watching. On the other hand, Watchlist section will help you to keep up with your favourite shows that you are following.
Unfortunately, right now Facebook has restricted the new Watch with limited number of users in the US. However, the company will roll out to more people soon. And it is worth mentioning that shows will be open to only a limited number of creators with Facebook opening it up to more creators soon.
