Back in 2015, the social networking giant Facebook launched Facebook Lite app, which is targeted to the low-end devices and also to the users who live in the region where they get low internet connectivity. In other words, the Facebook Lite app designed for the countries which is not developed very much or the countries which are in developing stage.
The Facebook Lite app provides all the basic and needful features which a Facebook user needs, and it is light weighted and friendly than the normal Facebook app. Well, now the company has launched the Facebook Lite app in many developed countries including the United States.
Having said that, this is not the first time Facebook launches the Lite version of applications in the developed countries. Back in 2017, the company has launched the Messenger Lite app in the United States and other developed countries.
