Well, after 2 years of its official launch the Facebook Messenger Lite receives the video calling ability with the latest update.
Facebook has officially announced that the new feature for its Lite version of Messenger, and the app is not only the lightweight version of Facebook Messenger but it also consumes less data than the normal Facebook Messenger.

How to use the feature:
First of all, you need to update the Facebook Messenger Lite app and then open a conversation, then tap on the video call button which is located at the upper right corner of the screen. Moreover, the app now allows you to switch between voice and video call by tapping the button which is located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Well, this is really a great move by the social networking giant, as now the users who have low-end and not reliable internet can connect with their near and dear ones with the video calling facility.
