In 2016, the social media giant Facebook removed Messenger service from its main Facebook app and offered a dedicated and separate application for texting as well as audio and video calls. This forced users to download a separate application to communicate with their friends and family. I personally feel that Facebook did a big mistake by separating Messenger from the Facebook app.
Now it seems that the company is changing the situation and bringing back Messenger to the main Facebook app once again. Meta has said that it will offer the ability to access the Messenger inbox from the Facebook app as part of a test and this will now be expanded soon which means more users will able to use Messenger inside the Facebook app.
The company has also said that over 140 billion messages are sent over each day using Instagram, WhatsApp, and messenger.
Finally, something good is going to happen and we are looking forward to see the integration for everyone. Do let us know you were thoughts on the same in the comments section below and stay tuned with us for more updates from the world of technology.
