The social networking giant, Facebook is now testing advertisements on the Messenger app. Which has a billion active monthly users, the testing is on both Android and iOS platforms.
Facebook shows ads on its main app, so it was expected that the company will show ads on Messenger. And now the company has started to testing advertisements on the Messenger as well. Facebook started the test in Australia and Thailand, the company may roll out the implementation to other parts of the globe soon.
Thankfully, the advertisements will appear in the area of the recent conversation, not in between the conversation. And no business company will not able to contact, unless you message to the sponsored advertisement. But the company didn’t make it clear that the business company can message directly to the users, if the user has interacted with the advertising sponsor before.
